Worthy De Jong deals with Boulogne

Worthy De Jong Worthy De Jong (194 cm) has signed a deal to play for SO Maritime Boulogne (France, Pro B) for the 2016/2017 season, the club announced. The movement signifies the first time that the Dutch player has played outside the Netherlands after spending his career widely associated with Zorg and Zekerheid Leiden in the Eredivisie. Worthy De Jong has spent the last six seasons with Leiden after joining the club from Rotterdam in 2010.

He has been consistently among the best players in the Eredivisie over recent years. During the 2015/2016 season the guard played 34 games and was the league’s second best scorer with 16.9ppg, while he also added averages of 6.6rpg, 3.1apg, and 2.1spg.
