MoraBanc Andorra (Spain-Liga Endesa) scored big in free agency this off-season, landing Thanasis Antetokounmpo (201 cm) to reinforce their roster. Thanasis is an international player who has dual citizenship from both Greece and Nigeria. His older brother, Giannis, plays for the Milwaukee Bucks. Thanasis was released by the New York Knicks at the start of the 2015-16 season. He headed to the D-League and signed with the Westchester Knicks. He was briefly called back up to the NBA by the New York Knicks and he was able to play two games where he averaged 3.0 ppg. Antetokounmpo returned to the D-League where he finished out the rest of the season with Westchester. He ended up playing a total of 46 games for them and produced averages of 11.0 ppg and 4.8 rpg.
