Thabeet a Thunder

The Oklahoma City Thunder signed center Hasheem Thabeet (7’3”-C-87, college: Connecticut) on Wednesday. Last season, the 7-foot-3 Thabeet averaged 1.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 20 games between Houston and Portland. The No. 2 overall pick by Memphis in 2009 has played 135 games, including 16 starts, in three seasons with the Grizzlies, Rockets and Trail Blazers. In his career, Thabeet has scored 2.2 points and pulled in 2.7 rebounds per game. He is a University of Connecticut product.
