Terrell Everett signed by Cholet to replace Uzoh

Terrell EverettCholet Basket (France-ProA) has announced today that they have signed American point man, Terrell Everett (1.93m, college: University of Oklahoma) to replace recently released Ben Uzoh (1.91m, college: Tulsa).

Everett started his professional career in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he averaged 12.6 points and 5.9 assists per contest over his two-year career with the Sooners (he played two years of Junior College ball prior to coming to the U of O). His senior year he averaged 6.9 assists per game and finished third in the NCAA in assists.

After graduating he wasn’t drafted into the NBA, so he took his talents to Europe and started in France with Chalon Saone. He played with them during the 2006-07 season, then with CEZ Nymburk (2007) and Dasket Digione (2007-08), before returning the the US to play in the NBA D-League with Tulsa (2008) and Bakersfield (2008-09). He wasn’t signed to an NBA contract at that time, so he crossed the pond once again and put in seasons with Toulon (2009), Chalon Saone (2009-10), Iraklis BC (2010-11) and most recently the German club Eisbären Bremerhaven, averaging 11.3 points and 4.9 assists over 28.9 minutes per game.
