Everett was averaging 9.0 points and 6.3 assists per game in six games during the EuroCup competition and 9.3 points and 3.9 assists per game in 14 French ProA games this season. Everett started his professional career in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Oklahoma, where he averaged 12.6 points and 5.9 assists per contest over his two-year career with the Sooners (he played two years of Junior College ball prior to coming to the U of O). After graduating he wasn’t drafted into the NBA, so he took his talents to Europe and started in France with Chalon Saone. He played with them during the 2006-07 season, then with CEZ Nymburk (2007) and Dasket Digione (2007-08), before returning the the US to play in the NBA D-League with Tulsa (2008) and Bakersfield (2008-09).
