Spencer Butterfield moves to Melilla

Spencer Butterfield (190 cm, Utah State’14) will take up his first professional position with Melilla Baloncesto in the Spanish LEB Gold. The American is coming off completing his college career with Utah State University in the NCAA and will now start his rookie campaign on the roster of the Spanish club. In fact, Butterfield will be the only non-Spanish player on the team sheet.

During his final season with Utah, Spencer Butterfield completed 32 games for the school and averaged 13.0 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. The 2012/2013 season saw the swingman feature in 29 games and average 12.2 points, 6.6 boards, and 2.5 dimes per game.
