AS Monaco Basket (France-Pro A) has opted to re-sign Ukrainian player Sergii Gladyr (196 cm) for the 2016-17 season. This will be his second season with the team. Sergii played 39 games for them in 2015-16 and delivered averages of 7.5 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He helped his team capture the French Leaders Cup in 2016. Gladyr can be considered a veteran of French hoops at this point, having played for two other teams in the French Pro A prior to his stint with Monaco. In 2014-15 he played for SLUC Nancy Basket Pro. He logged 16 games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 11.0 ppg and 3.2 rpg. Gladyr also saw action in 33 games in the French league and there he averaged 12.1 ppg and 3.5 rpg.
