Semih Erden parts ways with Darussafaka

Semih Erden Veteran Turkish big man Semih Erden (211 cm) is no longer with Darussafaka Dogus Istanbul (Turkey-BSL) this 2017 and is now a free agent. He was drafted by the Boston Celtics in 2008 and he can be proud to say that he has been part of the Turkish national team since 2004 as part of his extensive resumé. Erden played 10 games for them in the Euroleague and averaged 4.0 ppg and 3.1 rpg. He also played eight games in the Turkish league, where he posted averages of 5.8 ppg and 4.0 rpg. This was the second season he has played for Darussafaka, having signed with them at the beginning of 2015-16.
