Salim Stoudamire joins Guaros de Lara

Salim Stoudamire (186 cm, Arizona’05) has joined Guaros de Lara from Venezuela’s LPB. The former Atlanta Hawks guard had a quiet 2011-12 season. He worked out for Banca Tercas Teramo from Italy’s Serie A, but was not signed by the team.

The 2010-11 season saw Stoudamire play in the NBA’s D-League. First, for the Idaho Stampede, where he averaged 13.2 ppg and 3.6 apg. He was waived by the team in December 2010. He then joined the Reno Bighorns, also from the D-League, and there he averaged 8.1 ppg and 1.5 apg in 38 games.

Stoudamire was a member of the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks from 2005 to 2008.
