Former NBA big man Ryan Hollins (213 cm, UCLA’06) is taking his game to Europe and will be strengthening the frontcourt of Herbalife Gran Canaria (Spain-Liga Endesa) this 2016-17. This marks a new chapter in his career as he bids goodbye to the NBA. The 32-year-old veteran was initially released by the Memphis Grizzlies at the start of 2015-16. In November he signed with the Washington Wizards where he played five games and averaged 1.6 ppg and 2.2 rpg. In December he moved back to the Memphis Grizzlies where he finished off the season. In 31 games for the Grizzlies, he produced averages of 3.7 ppg and 2.8 rpg.
