Ryan Boatright moves to Cedevita

Ryan Boatright Ryan Boatright (183 cm, University of Connecticut’15) will be strengthening the backcourt rotation of KK Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1) this 2016-17. The 23-year-old makes his way back to Europe after starting the 2016-17 season playing in China for Guanzhou Securities (China-CBA). He played five games for them before his departure and was able to post averages of 24.0 ppg and 4.4 apg.

He departed the NBA after being released by the Brooklyn Nets and then later signing with the Detroit Pistons. Boatright found his way to the NBA D-League where he signed with the Grand Rapids Drive. He averaged 11.1 ppg and 2.9 apg in 20 games. In January 2016 Ryan inked a deal with Betaland Capo d’Orlando (Italy-Serie A). The guard ended up playing 11 games for the Italian club and produced averages of 19.2 ppg and 2.5 apg.
