Ronald Roberts switches to Tofas Bursa

Ronald Roberts (203 cm, St. Joseph’s’14) will play Dominican Republic BSL hoops this summer after penning with Tofas Bursa (BSL). The forward started the 2015/2016 season with the Toronto Raptors in the NBA, but was farmed out to the Franchise’s Raptors 905 in the Development League (D-League). With 905 Ronald Roberts played 24 games and was in good touch, securing double-double averages for the season.

His impressive stats of 18.4 points and 12.1 boards per game show Tofas Bursa that they are signing a player solid through the nets, and good off the glass.

Ronald Roberts is a Dominican Republic native, but has never played professionally in the country. He has played outside the USA though, featuring for San Miguel Beermen in the 2015 Philippines Commissioners Cup.
