Romain Sato remains with Valencia

Valencia Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa) has opted to retain Central African player Romain Sato (194 cm, Xavier’04) for one more season and will be suiting up for them this 2014-15. Sato was a former member of the Central African National Team in 2001 to 2003 and again in 2009 to 2013. He posted solid numbers for the Spanish club in the 2013-14 season, representing them in two leagues.

He played two dozen games for Valencia Basket in the Eurocup and averaged 9.3 ppg and 5.4 rpg. Romain also managed to appear in 41 games in the Spanish Liga Endesa and there he produced averages of 11.5 ppg and 6.1 rpg.
