Ray Willis, newcomer to Sundsvall

The Sundsvall Dragons of Sweden’s Basketligan are pleased to welcome Ray Willis (198 cm, N.C. Central’13) to their organization this 2015/16. Willis joins Jordan Downing as the two American imports on the team’s roster for the season. The 25-year-old Willis had a brief 2014/15 season, managing to play only six games for the Elitzur Yavne (Israel-National League). During his short run with the team, Ray posted averages of 18.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg.

He played for Maccabi Beer Yaakov (Israel-National League) in 2013-14. In 11 games he produced averages of 18.6 ppg and 9.5 rpg. In March 2014 he transferred to Karhu Kauhajoki (Finland-Korisliiga), where he played 11 games as well and there he notched averages of 16.0 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
