Randal Falker signed by Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti

Randal Falker (201 cm, S. Illinois ’08) is heading to Steaua CSM EximBank Bucuresti (Romania-Liga Nationala). He is moving from AEK Athens (Greek-A1) where he played four games this season. Last season Falker played for Sluc Nancy (France-ProA). He averaged 9.0 ppg and 8.7 rpg in 29.4 mpg for the French team. His time playing for Nancy lasted from 2013-2016, and the team reached the ProA semifinals in both 2014 and 2015. The center also played in Turkey for Besiktas in the 2012/2013 season.

Falker played three seasons for the Southern Illinois Salukis from 2004-2007. His impact was felt early in his college career. He won the MVP for the Missouri Valley Conference as a sophomore then led the team to the NCAA tournament as a junior. The center led his team in blocked shots in his junior season and led his team to a sweet 16 appearance.
