Rain Veideman signs with Udine APU

Rain Veideman

Rain Veideman (192 cm) lands with Pallacanestro Udine (Italy-Serie A2). The move to Italy follows a nine-year run in the Alexela KML in Estonia. Veideman played with BC Kalev/Cramo Tallin (Estonia-Alexela KML) from 2013-2017 and with Tartu Ulikool/Rock (Estonia-KML) from 2010-2013. This season with Kalev, he averaged 11.5 ppg with 3.1 rpg and 3.2 apg in 23.4 ppg. The team went on to win the league cup with the help of the 25-year-old. He left the team after the KML season ended earlier this month.

Now Veideman will move to a Udine team that currently sits in tenth place in the Serie A2 with a 10-13 record. The Estonian will add another three-point scoring threat to the Italian team. He has struggled this year from three while shooting 28 percent from deep, but in years past he’s been effective from deep. Last season, he shot 35.5 percent from three while averaging 13.2 ppg with Kalev/Cromo. His new Italian team will hope he can find his shooting form again this season.
