Paul Carter (205 cm, University of Illinois’11) has agreed to terms on a deal to play for the New Zealand Breakers (Australia-NBL) this 2016-17. Carter, who turned 29 in June this year, initially signed with German club ALBA Berlin (Germany-BBL). He played four games for them in the Eurocup and registered averages of 4.5 ppg and 1.3 rpg. Paul also played eight games in the domestic German league and there he managed to post averages of 2.5 ppg and 1.6 rpg. Carter saw minimal usage by the team and could be in line for more court time with the Breakers.
