Omar Samhan (211 cm, St. Mary’s, California’10) is a recent addition to the roster of the Townsville Crocodiles (Australia-NBL). Omar is 27-year-old Egyptian-American player who has played most of his career in Europe. In 2014-15 he spent the preseason with King Wilki Morskie Szczecin (Poland-TBL), but in November Samhan moved back to the United States to play in the NBA D-League for the Frisco Texas Legends. He played 17 games for the team and averaged 2.5 ppg and 2.8 rpg. Omar parted ways with the club in February 2015 and did not sign with another team for the remainder of the season.
