Norris Cole released by Shandong Bulls

Norris Cole Norris Cole (188 cm, Cleveland State’11) has been released by the Shandong Flaming Bulls (China-CBA) this 2016. Cole has played nine games for Shandong this season and produced averages of 19.1 ppg and 4.3 apg.  He had an NBA out clause in his deal and could be the reason for his release. The Memphis Grizzlies lost Mike Conley Jr. due to an injury, and their star point guard is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks. The Grizzlies have been scouting for a temporary replacement and Norris’ name has been floated as one of their options. So it would not be surprising to see the guard head back to the States and workout for the Grizzlies soon.
