After being released by the Orlando Magic, Nick Johnson (191 cm, Arizona’14) is taking his game to Europe this 2016-17 after landing a deal to play for FC Bayern Muenchen (Germany-BBL). He started the 2015-16 season with the Denver Nuggets, but ended up heading to the NBA D-League in December 2016. Johnson inked a deal with the Austin Spurs. He appeared in a total of 40 games and managed to produce averages of 14.4 ppg and 7.4 apg. Solid numbers, but it will be interesting to see how he is able to adapt to the European style of basketball in this new chapter of his pro career.
