Donald Wilson has inked a 1-year contract..
.. with Chalon-Champgne Reims Basket in France Pro B. The 26-year old shooting guard, played the past 2 seasons in Hungary. The new head coach of CCRB, Nikola Antic - who left Charleville-Mézières after being extremely succesfull overthere -, was searching the market for a versatile "American SG". The experienced Wilson played for Falco in the Hungary this past season (15 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 2.1 apg, 1.6 spg, 46.8% 3 pts). He was also active for 2 other teams in D1 in the past in Hunagry, ZTE KK and Szolnok. Before that, the former Portland State graduate played in Holland for ZZ Leiden for 2 seaosns (from 2006 until 2008). The new addition to the impressive roster of CCRB is a strong man-to-man defender who usually guards the opponents best perimeter scoring threat. At the same time Wilson is a top shooter, who has proven that he is a consistent 3-point shooter with an excellent mid-range game. He can help at the point and he's a strong slasher to the basket as well.
