Nathan Boothe (206 cm, Toledo’16) is set to begin his professional basketball career this 2016-17 with a stint in Europe. The fresh grad has signed a deal to play for Giorgio Tesi Group Pistoia (Italy-Serie A) this coming season. The big man is expected to boost the team’s frontcourt rotation. Pistoia made the Italian Serie A playoffs in 2015-16, but did not get far. The team hopes to improve on their finish this season. The 22-year-old Boothe played a total of 33 games in his senior year at Toledo. He posted averages of 19.5 ppg and 9.0 rpg. In 2016 he was named to the All-MAC 1st Team and the NABC All-District 14 1st Team.
