MJ Rhett lands with Cholet

MJ Rhett (206 cm, Mississippi ’15) is heading to Cholet Basket (France-Pro A). This will be the third team for Rhett this season. Previously, he played with Tadamon (Lebanon-Pepsi LBL) where he appeared in six games. His time with Tadamon went well as he scored 15.2 ppg with 9.8 rpg and 3.5 apg in 37.0 mpg in the Pepsi LBL.

Before going to Tadamon, the 24-year-old forward began the season suiting up for Sigal Prishtina (Kosovo-Superleague). He appeared in three different leagues with Sigal Prishtina including the European Cup, Balkan League and the Superleague. His best numbers came in his six games in the Balkan League. The big man scored 17.0 ppg while grabbing 9.7 rpg. His ability to score in the paint and rebound well should translate to his new team in France. This is just his second professional season.
