Mike Martin joins Al Shurtah

Mike Martin (203 cm, Chico State’08) is taking his game to the Iraqi Superleague after signing a deal with Al Shurtah Police (Iraq-Superleague) this 2016. This will be his first time to play in Iraq. The 30-year-old veteran is coming over all the way from Canada where he recently suited up for the Island Storm (Canada-NBL). Martin was able to play a dozen games for his former team before his departure and averaged 12.4 ppg and 4.4 rpg.

In 2015 Mike played eight games for the Pioneros de los Mochis (Mexico-CIBACOPA) and there he notched double-double averages of 16.9 ppg and 10.1 rpg.
