Michal Ignerski lands with AV Cantu

Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Italy-Serie A) has successfully secured the services of Michal Ignerski (207 cm, Mississippi State’03) for the remainder of the 2015-16 season. He is a 35-year-old Polish player who has been a member of the Polish national team from 1999 up 2013. The veteran forward is coming over from Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France-Pro A), where he played the 2014-15 season. Michal was able to play 15 games for Le Mans in the FIBA Europe Cup and he averaged 12.9 ppg and 4.1 rpg. He also appeared in 38 games in the French Pro A league and there he was able to put together averages of 10.8 ppg and 3.9 rpg.
