Malcolm Turner is new D-League President

Malcolm TurnerMalcolm Turner has been hired by the NBA to be the new president of its Developmental League (D-League). He was the managing director of the Wasserman Media Group’s Golf division. Turner joined the Wasserman Group in 2007.Prior to joining Wasserman, Turner served as Senior Vice President of Raleigh, North Carolina-based sports and entertainment consulting firm OnSport

He was a former intern in the NBA during his time at Harvard University. Turner will be reporting directly to deputy commissioner Mark Tatum. Malcolm will be in charge of the day-to-day operations and business matters of the 18-team league.
