Lorenzo Williams (187 cm, Rice’07) will continue his professional career this 2016-17 season with Panevezys Lietkabelis (Lithuania-LKL). Williams spent the last two seasons playing for Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (Germany-BBL). In 2015-16 the 31-year-old veteran played 22 games for his former team and recorded averages of 5.6 ppg and 2.2 apg. Williams played 28 games for them in 2014-15 and averaged 10.7 ppg and 5.9 apg. He went down due to an injury in April 2015 and was sidelined for the rest of the season. His injury-plagued stint in Germany is now in the rear-view mirror and Lorenzo looks forward to a fresh start with Lietkabelis.
