The American player started the 2013/14 season with Kumamoto Vorters (Japan-NBL) and became the second best scorer of the League, averaging impressive 23.9 points and 5.1 assists through his thirty games. In February 2014 he moved to Al Rayyan Doha (Qatar-D1, starting five), but left shortly afterwards. In his senior college season with Iona (NCAA), Lamont Jones notched 22.6 points and 3.4 assists in 34 games for the school. Jones declared for the 2013 NBA Draft, but he went undrafted before moving abroad.
