Jordan Hamilton parts ways with Tofas

Jordan Hamilton Jordan Hamilton (201 cm, Texas’11) has left Turkish club Tofas Bursa (Turkey-BSL) this 2016 and is now a free agent. Hamilton played a single game for them this season where he scored two points and pulled down three rebounds in 23 minutes on the floor.

Jordan had a busy 2015-16 season. He last played eight games for the Bucaneros de La Guaira (Venezuela-LPB) where he averaged 20.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg. Hamilton headed there after departing the NBA where he did a brief stint with the New Orleans Pelicans. Hamilton was signed by the Pelicans in March 2016. He played 11 games for them and averaged 11.4 ppg and 5.6 rpg. They called him from the D-League where he played for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. In 14 D-League games Hamilton posted averages of 14.9 ppg and 9.4 rpg. His 2015-16 season began in Europe, on the roster of Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd (Russia-VTB). He played six games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 12.2 ppg and 7.7 rpg. Jordan also logged nine games in the VTB league and was able to produce averages of 16.7 ppg and 7.7 rpg.
