Croatian powerhouse KK Cedevita Zagreb (Croatia-A1) has landed the services of John Shurna (204 cm, Northwestern’12) this 2016. He is a 26-year-old American player who also holds a Lithuanian passport. This will be the first time in his career that Shurna will be playing for a Croatian club. In 2015-16 John lent his talents to Valencia Basket (Spain-Liga Endesa). He played 16 games for them during their deep run in the Eurocup and was able to put together averages of 6.8 ppg and 3.1 rpg.
