Ivory Coast U18 beats Liberia

Ivory Coast U18 national men’s took the FIBA Africa Zone-3 sole ticket to the 2012 Afrobasket for U18 Men with a 70-30 whitewashing of Liberia in the closing day of the qualifiers at the Palais des Sports Treichville.
The last game of the qualifying series which drew a large crowd saw the young Elephant winning in all four quarters by 13-03, 13-09, 18-07 and 26-11 points saw the Ivory Coast winning the series with a 5-1 record for 11 cumulative points to top the qualifiers. In the earlier game played in the closing day saw Ghana handling Nigeria a 69-58 defeat.
