Sprite last sponsored the event when it was last held in 1999. “Sprite is doing this because we want to see dvelopment of this game within Uganda and Africa” Maggie Kigozi, the brand manager Coca Cola Uganda said. The tournament is a qualifier for the 27th and 18th Africa Championship Cup for men and women in turn.
