Eugene Spates returns to Nuwaidrat

Eugene Spates (203 cm, Northeastern’09) has penned a deal with Nuwaidrat in the Bahrain Premier League for the remainder of the season. The American has played for the club before, suiting up for the team during the 2012/2013 campaign. He impressed during that first stint and doubled up with averages of 23.4 points and 12.9 rebounds per game and also added 2.3 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Through the 2013/2014 term Eugene Spates played for Al Gharafa Doha (Qatar, D1) and through his sixteen games he collected averages of 12.6 points and 6.2 boards per game. Since leaving Northeastern in 2009 he has played in Luxembourg and the United States.
