Erman Kunter leaves Le Mans

Erman Kunter is vacating his position as head coach of Le Mans Sarthe Basket (France-Pro A). He is a 60-year-old Turkish coach who has coached Le Mans since 2014-15. He helped them win the French Cup this 2016. The team is struggling in the French Pro A right now. They are in 10th place with a 9-9 record.

Prior to landing his coaching job with Le Mans, Kunter coached Besiktas Istanbul in 2012-13 and also had a six-season run as head coach of Cholet Basket from 2004 to 2012. He also coached the Turkish national team in 1998-99.
