Eric Buckner pens with Insaat Buyukcekmece

Eric Buckner (208 cm, Georgia State’12) has made a move to Demir Insaat Buyukcekmece Basket in the Turkish BSL second divison. The American has been away from the game for three months due to an injury sustained in November. At the start of the season, Eric Buckner played for Aris Thessaloniki in the Greek A and FIBA Basketball Champions League.

In the Greek league he played 10 times and secured averages of 6.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while in the Champions League he played 9 games and numbered 7.1 points and 5.4 rebounds each contest.

Previously in his career, the center has played extensively in China and has also spent time in the Turkish BSL before, featuring for Ankara.
