Eric Buckner (208 cm, Georgia State’12) is taking his game to Greece after landing a deal to play for Aris Thessaloniki this upcoming season. The deal is reportedly good for two years. Buckner had a busy 2015-16 season, seeing action for two different clubs from two different continents. He began the season playing for Turk Telekom Ankara (Turkey-BSL). Buckner played 13 games for them in the FIBA Europe Cup and averaged 14.0 ppg and 4.6 rpg. He also appeared in 28 games in the domestic Turkish league where he managed to post averages of 10.0 ppg and 6.3 rpg. Later on in the year Eric headed to China to play for Henan Shedianlaojiu (China-NBL). He played three games for the Chinese club and averaged 22.3 ppg and 18.0 rpg.
