Derrick Caracter to Pasvalys

Derrick Caracter (206 cm, University of Texas-El Paso’10) has joined Pieno Zvaigzdes Pasvalys (Lithuania, LKL) for the 2013/2014 season. The center has been spending the preseason with Slask Warsaw in the Polish TBL, but he left the team earlier this week. Last season the big man played for Hasharon (Israel-Winner League) where he featured in twenty games and averaged 12.2 points and 7.4 rebounds per game.

Derrick Caracter was a 2010 NBA Draft pick for the LA Lakers (2nd round, 58th) and played 41 games for the franchise through the 2010/2011 season. Playing from the bench Derrick Caracter managed to get averages of 2.0 points and 1.0 rebound per game during the season with the Lakers.
