Darius Johnson-Odom

Former NBA guard Darius Johnson-Odom (187 cm, Marquette’12) has signed a deal to play for Acqua Vitasnella Cantu (Italy-SerieA) this 2014-15 season. The North Carolina native had a busy 2013-14 season, seeing action for three different teams. He began the season with the Sichuan Blue Whales (China-CBA) where he played four games and produced averages of 20.5 ppg and 2.8 apg. In January 2014 he moved to the NBA D-League and signed with the Springfield Armor. Darius played 27 games in the D-League and was able to deliver solid averages of 22.0 ppg and 6.1 apg. His strong play caught the eye of the Philadelphia 76ers and he was picked up by the team, but just managed to play two games for them and averaged 0.0 ppg and 0.5 apg.
