D.J. Shelton (208 cm, Washington State’14) will continue his professional career this 2016-17 as a fresh addition to the roster of GS Lavrio (Greece-A1). This will be his first run playing in Greece. He began the 2015-16 season playing for Consultinvest VL Pesaro (Italy-Serie A). He played 10 games for them and was able to produce averages of 5.8 ppg and 4.3 rpg. Shelton parted ways with Pesaro in December 2015. A month later he agreed to terms on a deal with Turkish club Akhisar Belediye (Turkey-TBL). D.J. ended up playing 13 games for them and delivered averages of 15.8 ppg and 10.5 rpg.
