Christian Eyenga joins Banco di Sardegna

Former NBA forward Christian Eyenga (201 cm) has been signed to a deal by Banco di Sardegna Sassari (Italy-Serie A) this 2015/16. Eyenga is from the Democratic Republic of Congo and was a one-time member of their national team in 2007. Christian is coming from another Italian Serie A team, Openjobmetis Varese. He played in 21 games for his former club and was able to record averages of 12.7 ppg and 5.9 rpg.

In 2013-14 Christian played for 2014 Polish league finalist Stelmet Zielona Gora (Poland-TBL). He played six games for them in the Eurocup and averaged 9.8 ppg and 4.0 rpg. Eyenga also played 10 games for his club in the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and there he produced averages of 9.2 ppg and 4.7 rpg. Last but not the least, Christian managed to play in 47 games in the domestic Polish TBL and averaged 10.2 ppg and 4.1 rpg.
