Brandon Brown moves to Rio Claro

ACBD Rio Claro of the Brazilian Paulista league has signed American point guard Brandon Brown (178 cm, Montana West’12) until the end of the season. Brown is in his first season as a pro after leaving Montana West last summer. During last season in college the 23-year old played 35 games in the NAIA for the Montana starting five and averaged 22.4ppg, 3.5rpg, and 4.6apg.

In the summer of 2012 Brandon Brown joined with the Mount Gambier Pioneers (Australia ABA) where he played 16 times and recorded game averages of 16.6ppg, 3.5rpg, 4.4apg. Rio Claro also announced that it will add Brazilian swingman Rafu Da Silva (197 cm, New Have’06) to its roster.
