Yancy Gates moves to Hapoel Jerusalem

Yancy Gates (206 cm, Cincinnati’12) will be suiting up for Hapoel Jerusalem (Israel-Winner League) this 2015/16, moving from Hapoel  Tel-Aviv (Israel-Winner League). The 25-year-old Gates played a total 36 games for Hapoel Tel-Aviv in the 2014/15 season and was able to record averages of 16.8 ppg and 6.3 rpg . His strong play for the season earned him a spot in the Israeli League All-Star Game in 2015.

This will be Yancy’s third team from the Israeli Winner league in as many years. In 2013/14 he played for Hapoel Eliat and there he managed to produce averages of 11.4 ppg and 6.0 rpg in 36 games.
