Vladimir Golubovic signs with Unicaja

Vladimir Golubovic (213 cm) is set to reinforce the frontcourt of Spanish club Unicaja Malaga (Spain-Liga Endesa) for the 2014-15 season. Golubovic has dual Serbian and Montenegrin citizenship. The big man has been a member of the Montenegrin National Team from 2008 to 2012. He joins the Unicaja after spending the 2013-14 season playing for Turkish TBL team Aykon TED Kolejliler Ankara. Vladimir displayed both his scoring and rebounding prowess as he averaged 19.3 ppg and 10.1 rpg in the regional Eurocup league. He played in 29 games in the Turkish league where he brought averages of 13.1 ppg and 7.8 rpg.
