The Milwaukee Bucks have traded Ish Smith (183 cm, Wake Forest’10) and Ukrainian Viacheslav Kravstov (212 cm) to the Phoenix Suns in exchange for Caron Butler (201 cm, Connecticut’02).

The move was done by the Bucks as a means to address a positional need. Their slated starting small forward, Argentinian-Italian Carlos Delfino (200 cm), is still recovering from foot surgery this off-season and may not be ready for opening night.

Kravstov played the 2012-13 season with the Detroit Pistons. He appeared in 25 games and averaged 3.1 ppg and 1.8 rpg. Before getting called up to the NBA, Vladimir played for BC Donetsk from Ukraine’s Superleague in 2011-12. There he averaged 10.6 ppg and 5.5 rpg in 50 games for the eventual 2012 Ukrainian League Champions.
