Vasilije Micic pens with Bayern Muenchen

FC Bayern Muenchen (Germany-BBL) has agreed to terms with Serbian guard Vasilije Micic (196 cm) and has signed him to a two-year deal. Micic was drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft. His contract will delay his NBA debut, but fits in with Philly’s long term rebuilding plans.

The 20-year-old player has played for Serbian clubs exclusively throughout his young professional career and has been a member of the Serbian National Team from 2013 up to the present. Micic has spent the last four seasons on the roster of Mega Vizura (Serbia-A League). In 2013-14 he played 24 games for them in the Adriatic league and averaged 11.8 ppg and 5.8 apg. He also played seven games for them in the domestic Serbian league and posted averages of 13.3 ppg and 5.3 apg.
