Tyshawn Taylor to give back-to-school items away in NJ

tyshawn taylorTyshawn Taylor, the Brooklyn Nets rookie guard, will be hosting a “Back-to-School” supplies give-a-way today in Hoboken, New Jersey. In addition to giving school items, he’s also going to be giving them copies of his new video game, NBA Baller Beats. Taylor went to St. Anthony High School in Hoboken and was coached by famed coach Bobby Hurley. ‘I want to spread some cheer and inspiration to the neighborhood where I grew up,’ said Taylor. ‘Being a part of the Brooklyn Nets organization allows me to continue to be connected to this community, and I am truly grateful for that.’
Taylor is a 2012 graduate of Kansas, where he was helped lead the squad to the NCAA Finals, losing to Kentucky. He is 18th on the all-time list of number of games played in NCAA Division 1 history with 146.
