Tremmell Darden headed to Spain

Not too long after parting ways with Zalgris Kaunas from Lithuania, Tremmell Darden (194 cm, Niagara’04) has found a new team. He is headed to Spain to play for Real Madrid (ACB). Real Madrid is making locking down more talent to amp up its roster and deepen its bench. They are currently sitting atop the ACB standings with an impressive record of 23-1.

The 32-year-old Darden played with a Spanish ball club in the 2011-12 season, for Unicaja Malaga. In 21 games for Unicaja, Darden averaged 8.0 ppg and 3.3 rpg. He also represented them in 10 games in the Euroleague and managed averages of 8.0 ppg and 3.4 rpg. He got injured in March 2012.
