Trae Golden goes pro with Lapua

Trae GoldenLapuan Korikobrat of the Finish Korisliiga are strengthening their roster this 2014-15 season with the addition of rookie Trae Golden (188 cm, Georgia Tech ’14). Lapuan is looking to improve on their seventh place standing in the Finish League and an infusion of some young blood might just do the trick.

In his senior year at Georgia Tech, the American player produced averages of 13.3ppg and 2.6rpg in 31 games. Trae Golden transferred to Georgia Tech during the 2013 offseason to be closer to his father, who was reportedly facing health issues. The NCAA has a history of allowing student-athletes who transfer under such circumstances to do so without penalty. Trae Golden averaged 12.1 points and 3.9 assists per game through the 2012-13 season while playing for Tennessee.
