Torin Francis newcomer to La Union

Torin Francis (210 cm, Notre Dame’05) will continue his professional career this 2015-16 as a member of La Union Formosa (Argentina-Liga A). Torin is a 32-year-old Jamaican-American player who began the season playing for Malvin Montevideo (Uruguay-LUB). He signed with them in November and was able to play a couple of games for them before his departure. During his brief stint, Torin averaged 8.5 ppg and 4.0 rpg.

In 2014-15 Torin averaged 7.1 ppg and 5.0 rpg in 28 games in the Belgian league for Proximus Spirou (Belgium-Scooore League). He also posted averages of 10.0 ppg and 3.0 rpg in three Eurocup games.
