Tony Watson II heads to Duhok

Tony Watson II (188 cm, Buffalo’13) will continue his professional career in Asia as he signs with Duhok from Iraq’s Superleague this 2014/15. The 24-year-old guard was originally set to play for MAFC Budapest (Hungary-A Division), but was released by the team on September 2014. Tony spent his 2013/14 season in Germany playing for the Bayer Giants Leverkusen (Germany-ProA). He logged in a total of 30 games for the Giants and was able to produce averages of 15.0 ppg and 6.2 apg.

During his senior year at Buffalo, Watson averaged 11.3 ppg and 3.6 apg through 31 games.
